VIS indicator Kits.

Right I should have 10 of these made up ready for dispatch by the end of the week. They are going to come with Red and Green LEDs. Rather than the blue pictured.
The Kit consists of:
LED indicators that are mounted to the switch blank,
All the Wiring to install
Installation instructions
This kit requires you to splice into the loom for the VIS motors, splicing and soldering onto 5 colourcoded wires that will all be explained in the instructions included.

They will come at a cost of ?30 inc postage. I would also be greatful if the switch blank the kit replaces can be sent back to me allowing more to be produced. ( I will include a stamped addressed envelope :))

I wont be taking payment until they are ready to go.

If those intrested could add their name to the list:

1. haGGard (neil) -------SENT
2. Smokey (Blair) -------SENT
3. Daytona365 --------- Pm sent
4. Wullie zs-180 --------SENT
5. Gavspav ------------SENT
6. Midcuk ------------- PAID
7. Blobslosak ---------- SENT(VIS+MIL)
8. *Taken* SENT

Big thanks to Murray for suppling the switch blanks :) If anyone is in a scrap yard in the near future the blanks would be much appreciated.

The Kits Ive provided I have labelled the LEDs to show which relate to which motor with masking tape.

Although for future reference if you look at the back of the kit, the LEDs on the same side as the lug thats on the connector are the connected to the power motor. If installed the right way round it should appear/opperate as below :)

I'll put my name down down for one, but does this fit to the left of steering wheel? (where the fog switches are) As i've got fog light switches there...

Heres the original thread http://www.themgzs.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=13015

Basically they tap into the feed from the motors and light one of 2 LEDs Red = Motor is shut, Green = Open. (one set for power one for balance motors.)

It will let you know wether the motors actuators are open or shut, which can inform you of a fault with the VIS valves. Common cause of low powered 180s.

At idle you should have 2 LED's on (one for each motor/ Red).
Plant it and BOTH LED's should swap to green.
At about 3krpm's the 1st LED should go back to red, at 4krpm's the 2nd LED should go back to red. If either LED isn't switching it indicates that the retrospective motor is broken. :)
