I was tempted, but cost was the issue.

Indeed, it hasn't worked out to be a cheap mod, I kind of justified it because I need a new screen anyway, the one fitted now looks like it's been used for an ice hockey match

Yeah, I would have done it if that was the case. Still got a few bits to do first anyways!

Any news on when they are ready?

Warm weather? We had the worst snow of the winter on Monday!

Pete, Judging from past and current experience with the ZS, the HRW is a weird circuit, it does have a timer on it but that said timer can time out in as little as 2-3mins depending on the exterior temp, but this could all be linked up to the Mk2 ATC system, I have noticed that the HRW can stay on for the max of 15mins yet other times it can only stay on for 2-3mins, which will be enough for the FRW to defrost like the Ford system. I would also like to try and figure out where the constant live is to run the mirrors off the HRW too as having them on all time is simply a stupid idea.

I had noticed that the hrw could be a bit random in the amount of time it stays on, it affects both our zs's one with atc, and one without.
There is a switch available for the heated mirrors, but I've never seen a zs with it fitted, so it could be only 400's had it, it fit's where the headlamp level switch is on the zs.

Is that the Honda variant switch?

Hmm, interesting, that switch you got a picture of Kev looks like it would be a straight swap with the zs mirror switch.
