KV6 plenum. Brand new, never fitted, with receipt to be used purely as proof of purchase, not guarantee, but minus the power vis.

I bought it to have as a spare, but need to get some money back.

£350 ish plus postage.

I thought I posted earlier, must have forgot to hit submit..................

This ticking, is it all the time? Is it loud or just background? Sometimes the purge valve can be mistaken for this. If the plenum is knackered it will sound like a bucket of bolts or the impression your cams are gone!

Could be just a vis motor requiring a refurb. Unplug one motor at a time, any difference? Otherwise remove the power vis (top one) and check the actuator arm for movement, is it smooth and linear in movement and giving approx 8-10mm movement? If so then it is good, if it rocks about and is floppy then suspect a worn arm and possibly no longer connected to all 6 off butterflies.

Hi Mick,

The ticking is there all the time but is not loud just in the background. I am sure it has always sounded a bit ticky its just that i have noticed it a bit more. I have no clue about vis valves or where they are loacated. I will have to search for a pic and then check.

Thanks for the advice ........

There will be some images in the 'how to' section regarding plenum changing, this may help you Craig.
