I have got a set of 4 genuine MG ZS car mats in Puma Black with the MG Logo on.

YOU CAN NOT GET THESE FROM A DEALER ANYMORE!!!

Brand New but have no fixings.

Think they are MK2 mate, checked with my local dealer and he only had this part number listed for all the ZS's

The mats are a slightly different shape for mk1 and mk2 (didn't realised this until I spoke to Ralph)... The mk1's had a slightly different shape mat due to some ducting of some kind that was removed from the mk2's as part of project drive? - Something to do with the rear mats?

It was a while back so can't remember 100%..

Also last time I checked he could still get them too, I paid £42 for mine

my zs mats that fitted my saloon perfect diddnt fit in my hatch properly.


that was 02 plate saloon

Hmmm, i did see these mats (or ones like these) for sale on ebay not that long ago advertised pretty much the same saying (no fixings) for about £19...!! Has somebody bought these and selling them again hoping to make a bit of a sneaky profit??

As far as I am aware, these mats are available again from XPart. We certainly got a set in about 3 weeks ago for a customer.

The floor pan was changed some time around 2003, prior to the introduction of the Mk2. Early cars have air ducts that go to the back seats.

They look nothing like the shape of the ones I had in my first ZS Mk1.

hmmmm, might look into getting that air duct for mine:D, sure theyll still physically fit though:)

the MK2 mats do fit the mk1 the ones i bought were mk2 (as i bought one for mine and one for the better half) they do not look out of place, i can take some pics to show the difference as we one both a mk1 and 2
