lol, this is the third time this has been posted up! :)

The towbar and 'V6' badge is a little disconcerting... Even with this in mind it looks in good condition!

Mine cost £4250 through a garage 21 months ago, so no matter what its worth now I cant lose a bundle of cash.

The fun value is worth every £, its now up to 134 bhp and goes as quick as I want, plenty of torque as well.

The derv still drives like its on rails, bit like the old mini, can recommend them, depending on how they've been treated though.

The word DERV has 2 meanings:

2.DERV=Diesel Engine Road Vehicle

He'd be nuts to accept that for it, there are loads of cars go for more than that on autotrader every week...

The general rule of thumb is that a mk2 derv goes for 180 money, plus a little extra if it has the kit!

I had a look at a few when I got mine (12 months ago), only two were under the 4k mark (mine being one), and mine was the only one without the kit... They all sold within a week of being listed on autotrader and before I got to them :(

I'd take the V6 badge off, if I was him, dont do much for his cred.
