Well .... I've got the money available after jiggling some finances around to enable me to make an offer on Cad's "55" plate hatch, but I've been waiting to hear back all day .... no joy yet.

Anyone else fancy offering theirs for a cash sale this week ?

Hatch preferred. Saloon good too, but must have alcantara.

Could offer my Mk1 as px plus cash, or just buy it.

:hmmm: I'm looking it up now assuming there'll be some pics on here somewhere .... The ZSX I believe you call it.

You see the trouble is that although the bonnett is unique, my understanding is that it doesn't serve any purpose any more as the supercharger has been removed.

Post or put on a link to some pictures, tell me about it, and let me know what you're after for it. pm me if you like.

Looks nice ....

Trouble with monogram is the fact that you drive around in a goldfish bowl ... that's what I found with the Bittersweet ZT-T.

Some more details of the car would be good ... and price you're after.

Didn't think he'd be giving it away. Needs a buyer to show it really, rather than use it for 40 miles a day due to it's history. No doubt it's a cracking looking car.

For me though, the colour's not a selling plus point, so wouldn't pay any more for it over another colour. Without the supercharger it's just a 180 saloon with a non-standard bonnet needing it's belts changed in the new year.

I'd never pay anything near £7K but, peoples ideas on value of their cars can change depending on lots of circs.

We'll see what he'd let it go for.

Really annoyed about the "55" plate hatch, I have to say .... But ....

Nothing wrong with mine at all. Just got new boots for it, new clutch, belts done and ...oh yeah ... just MOT'd ! If nothing comes along, I'm not bothered.

Would be a lovely one to own!!!

Mate ... I got the money out ready to buy Cad's. It was, as far as I was concerned, perfect. XPG hatch with alcantara. Late model, good value too .... spot on.

Anyway .... he sold it to someone else, so now I've got £3,500 sitting there. More than likely it'll go back into the savings, but thought I'd ask if anyone else fancied a sale while I've got the money out.

You're right though, I've only had mine a few months. In that time I've thrown some money at it, and it's going really well now, so, to be pefectly honest, would be down-right daft to sell it on now. But hey .... I don't drink, don't smoke, but like changing my car around.

Takes allsorts to make the world go round. :cowboy:

Yes i know what you mean..

Once the money is out the temptaion is too much.

There are a few around so you may be lucky but you may struggle with the Alcantara. You could always buy one without and pick some up (if you can find some cheap).

His car did look like a nice buy though......

I'm not here to rub anyone's nose in it, but it was a very nice buy and I am over the moon.

BUT, in all the years I have been driving, I have never taxed the same car twice. It's just that I get the urge to try something else.

If you're interested, make me an offer. I would also be willing to take a suitable MG or Rover in part exchange.

Are the Alcantara that rare?
