The oil burners seem to be worth more than the petrols, But its not the best time of year to sell, Im asking £2000 for my 120. Maybe a tad high but if its what someone is after they will pay for it. Hold out if you can expect after the xmas/new holiday to finish more people will start looking. :)

I'm looking at putting my black ZS derv soon for around £3600 with almost exactly the same mileage...

I personally would swap the grille and wheels for some standard 45 kit, and sell it as a 45 not a ZS... It doesn't afterall have the ZS front bumper, so is only really half way there!

Nice car though, stick to your guns re-price, and get it onto AutoTrader and ebay!

EDIT: Have you got the cambelt done for the second time? It's due in 1000 miles (as is mine)

well when i bought it off of huge he didnt know it had been due so was just done for the first time at around 82K
Only problem of putting it back to standard is that if i was to take the spoiler off it will be left with 4 holes in the boot :S

I'm really surprised this hasn't sold!

Sign up on MG-Rover.org and advertise it, they'll charge you £5 for the honour but there's a big diesel following on there... You should get a quick sale and what you wanted!

Also bear in mind that what your asking is very close to mk1 diesel money, you might want to up the asking price a little and go for offers?

a polo is good for me i think as i need a smaller car for the gf to drive and being a vw should be fairly reliable

Will sting on insurance... Being a Polo it will be high anyway as it's considered to be a 'chavs' car, plus it's quite heavily modified and being that low will cost you a fortune in chiropractic care! lol

If you fancy it then go for it... But I wouldn't IMO!

iv had a quote for just £100 more than the rover on it but got to admit the mileage is a bit higher than i wanted, what other cars would you recomend? im def not getting a zr tho as i hate the k series engine

Diesel ZR?

To be honest, I would personally avoid MG-R all together... Possibly think about a Civic?

Cheap, cheerful and good for 200,000+ miles ;)
