I am friends with a guy working on EH558 Vulcan that should have taken to the skies the summer, but has had some setbacks with parts etc.
I have asked for permission to get our ZS's alongside the Vulcan for a photo shot(s). Also we may well see her do a fast taxi run!!!

EH558 is based at Bruntingthorpe aerodrome.

Anyone interested????, just to get the numbers of possible ZS's

Is that Leicester way and when do you plan this Mike?

Yup, near Leicester. Hopefully in the next month 6 weeks or so. They also have a Lightning & Buccanner based there.

Ah! best get that in before my tax runs out! Was going to SORN the ZS for a couple of months as we have two cars due at the very same time! Was hoping to stagger the tax due dates! LOL!

I will let everyone know, as soon as clearance given. Winter is rapidly approaching us, so would like to sort sooner rather than later.

Also, will try for photo pic at Blackpool Airport next year, if we do a National ZS day. Vulcan based there as well, but static.

UPDATE UPDATE.......Vulcan at Blackpool sold on fleabay!!!!. Now being installed in a pub nr Manchester!!!!

Hope it's a real ale pub, never been propped up p*ss*d whilst leaning on an Oleo strut with big Dunlops hanging on the end!!!!!!!!

OK, will update on Bruntingthorpe Vulcan EH558 as soon as more info comes through.
Should have an idea of numbers by end of week.

UPDATE UPDATE
Have formally requested an early Saturday slot to have a photo session with ZS's & Vulcan.
Date to be determined as of yet, but looking for sooner rather than later.
I have formally requested to attend Bruntingthorpe, due to security & 'live' runway activities........may have to put my 'Follow Me' yellow flasher on the roof...!!!!!
Will advise as soon as.

:rofl: poor choice of wording maybe, but kudos on the choice of venue for a photoshoot. Giving me ideas as to what I can do for the BRMs now.
