Am now on an insurance policy on a 206 (euuughhh) that I share with my sister when I'm home from uni, it didn't cost a penny to add me to the policy for a year!

Also have the Pass Plus which is said to reduce insurance premiums, although I think it has no affect on me as I don't have my own policy unfortunately. Was thinking about doing my Institute of Advanced Motorists test, I'd assume that would lower insurance costs when I finish uni and get my 180 :) if anyone could confirm that? I always seem to struggle with insurance.

EDIT: Pass Plus only makes a difference in your first/second year after passing it, as I found out to my annoyance when I renewed after my first policy (was being illegal on my mums policy for the year before then!)

When you start to think about it you understand why people dont bother insuring cars.
