Do we wave?

Some do, some don't. Generally i don't as any i see are going the opposite way on the Motorway making it a little pointless.

When I'm in mine I do, those that I see on a regular basis that don't wave back are ignored! Those that do is always a wave, but not the type that window lickers do! :laugh:

i give a quick wave but the only ZS is pass are ither on the inside lane worrying about the mpg they are getting or on the other side of the motorway...

i once tried to flash a TF driver who was suppsoed to be looking out for me coming ther other way and nearly ended up rear ending the person in front who thought i was being an arse in the outside lane flashing my lights to get him to move over so brake tested me. Needless to say the TF driver did not see me :laugh:

We flash other ZS drivers and we've also had nods of acknowledgement from the F/TF drivers (who seem to be middle aged blokes in driving gloves lol)

I give a flash of the lights and a wave to all MG or Rover owners aprt from the ones that i have done in the past and dont give a dam.:happy2:

Theres one in mussleburgh that gives a nod on the high street when we pass but generally any i see any others its more of a glance to check the cars out.
I know where the mussleburgh one sits so i might wack a site sticker on it!

I usually wave, but I've noticed that the drivers of F and zeds don't bother acknowledging, where as the drivers of Bs and Midgets do wave in return.

Driving the MGB around always got a wave or flash back, with the ZS had a couple of waves back but most ignor you.

I do occasionally if it's a ZR that looks different and the driver doesn't look like a ****.

ZS's have to be either MK2's or modded MK1s, other wise they tend not to give a damn about the MG thing. I ignore TFs unless they're special number plate for example.

Just depends on the car. Classics ALWAYS get a wave

Always get a wave when out in the old mans vitage cars (austin 7 and mg td)
Also get loads in my mini but never in my zed.

was going to add, you can't really tell mine has been modded either... onlt difference in a front mounted intercooler in the bottom grill, and a 2.5" stainless tailpipe (that you can't tell is stainless as it is always covered in soot ;))

yeah i only wave if the driver looks "enthusiastic" in some way about their MG!

i dont mean... he or she is driving down the road bouncing in his or her seat like some giddy school girl!!

i mean that their car looks a bit more then the dirty little runabout you might see :whip:

I waved and flashed at a nice mk2 the other day. He didnt wave back, then I remembered I was driving a Volvo :D

well ive got to say i tryed waving to every mg owner i saw today. Was only about 4 and all were zr's. All I got in return was confuessed looks . . . . dont think they understood that its just a car thing :s

If I'm in slow moving traffic and I know that the driver of the other MG's looking at me, I'll give a little nod of the head and a smile.

I don't really drive about waving at other MG drivers though .... Does that make me bad .... :evil:

Lol I reckon I would, I think as long as the driver reacts to me first in some way I will wave, I've just been ignored by so many MK1 ZSs and ZRs I tend not to bother unless I attract their attension for driving a zed.

Funny thing is, I tend to avoid eye contact with heavily modded ZRs lol

BRMs, ZT260s, MK2 ZS180s always get waves - pretty rare.
