I am now the proud owner of a second turbocharged car. I already own a Rover 420 powered by a Rover 620Ti engine. Now I also own a Montego Turbo. Some of you may have seen it at the Kent meet in August last year. Here are a few photos from that event:

Another one for the fleet??

From what I remember it went really well, surprised a few others driving to the meet last year.

Going to take it round Brands, if Will sorts out a date???

Love one, but I know I'd have trouble keeping it to 30/50/70'ish.

Even today, put my foot down as a car pulled along side as we joined the motorway after leaving the Malta Inn. That was with all my bells and buzzers going off and I realised we were in a 50mph area, so on with the brakes and hope the cameras werent looking. Not that I was going too fast, of course.

The derv goes as fast as you can drive nowadays, thats why I've not gone up to a 180, but I was tempted by one once.

Trouble is someone up Salisbury way snapped it up!!!

I had the OH in the car too so i wasnt allowed to put my foot down either, that was just me getting bored waiting for a space at the roundabout.

Can you park it round the right way at some point though? Looks weird that way round.

I only put it in the showroom as a temporary measure to make some more space on the forecourt. It was a tight squeeze getting itinto the showroom - almost hit a Maestro.
