not an mg but im still impressed with it, its a hyundai accent 1.3 and was bought for the grand total of £40 with no tax or MOT, the head gasket was a bit gone but it was still usable, altenator was shot and it needed a new battery, well price list as below

car:£40
Altenator and battery tray: £10
battery: £20 new
Mot: £25, so road legal car £100 which was ideal for tanya passing her test

a few months later all going good did the headgasket at a cost of about £50 and a few hours of my own good labour, and put in a clutch too for £60

so a year later and it just flew through its MOT again, just deglazed all the brakes and gave it a polish, few dents but nothing serios, back arches are a bit rusty so going to respray all that come the summer and it'll be sorted!

wee pic from yesterday

Do like the way you paint the engines up on your rebuilds.

Nice to see someone that takes that much care of a motor, shows that you dont throw them together.
