bloody hell, worse than mine that is, i bought mine back off the insurance, cost me £400, well it dont cost you they just take it off the payout money, worth buing back though and stripping, it could be rebuilt but you will need a lot of jigging and new panels, you are looking at nearly £400 in panels alone for that i reckon
PS, try not to accept the first offer, also if it has optional extra's make sure they know about them, i got another £700 added to my final payout cause of the options it has

no there was a car turning right and i stopped behind it and a car came off the roundabout like a idiot and smashed right in to me sent me to the left and into a lampost.

an Astra his didn't look to bad at all.

Well worth buying it back and stripping it as long as you've got somewhere to store it!

Must be a bad day today.
I just came back from an MG vs Triumph vs Morgan meeting in Germany to find my car had been shunted while I was away! At least the police have the details of the jerk who ruined my 180.
I'll have to check and see what the insurance says, though I'm pretty sure the car is a write-off: the drivers side rear wheel has been torn away.
So that makes two Zed in a day...

Gutted for both of you, seems alot of them suffer rear enders, sometimes I wonder if the spoilers attract t-wats behind.
Defo worth buying it back as they are worth a fair amount in parts :) You never know with the payout you could could out better off than if you had sold it. I know its still heart renchin but at least it helps towards your next motor.

Gutted for you mate, you just posted some shiny pics this last week as well! Whiplash is nasty too! Takes a few days for it to come out, worth a bit too! Suggest you see your GP tomorrow for a check up and lay it on ;)
well if your buying another buy it back and swap all the best bits onto yours and make the ultimate car:D

My car was valuated at £1850 and it cost £350 to buy it back, so i got a payout of £1500. I then broke it for parts and made probs around £1000-£1200 in that alone. so £2500-£2700 - More than enough to buy another ;)

My old man had exactly the same happen to him a good 3 or 4 years ago, he's still suffering from a bad back because of it!!

What a bummer, glad your OK, think we lose more ZS by being rear ended than anything else. Hope the neck gets better!!
OMG what a mess glad you are okay, but you should take the clown that done it to the cleaners absolutley gutted for you i would be in bits if my zed ended up like that.

Glad to hear yo uare ok.. but as others have said go to the doc and get it checked out ASAP!
It is such a shame to see the car's in such a sorry state, but at least the crumple zone (aka boot) does its job!

went to the hospital in the evening and my insurance company have put in a claim, my back has started to hurt a bit felt ok after the crash.

Sorry to see.
Genuine whiplash and back injuries are really nasty and should be taken seriously. Go easy for at least 4 weeks and make sure that any loss of earnings etc are then entered into your claim. Get receipts for every cab you have to take etc.
Hope it works out for the best mate.
