Hahaha, thanks shroon
Good to hear the rims are growing on you too.
as I said, I really had to get used to them as well, now I really love 'em :D
I have to clean 'em every week tho, otherwise the breaking dust gets to the chrome

looking good Pete. i dont mind the wheels TBH, just need to be that 1" bigger...... mind you, thats what she said! lol!
LOL,
It's because of the tyres that it seems to need 18"-ers.
Will solve it in due time by the Eibachs ;-)

Loving that colour m8..never seen one that colour blue b4.
i really like the wheels, chrome, rimmed dished wheels always look an inch smaller. I think they set it off a treat
looking great mate, i must agree :) I like the standard wheels but im you cant beat a bit of uniqueness :)
Will look forward to see your car after lowering to see if i fancy it aswell, im not sure at the moment.
Pfew, just noticed it's been way too long since my last visit here
But, I haven't been sitting still in the meentime :)
Here's an update:
I started with fitting some decent ICE, like woofer, amp, new speaker around and a new HU, the Pioneer Avic X3-BT:
The woofer

The Amp

The capacitor

The Set-up

Another shot of the Head Unit

A very cool movie :D

Next, I fitted MKI indicators

After those it was time to change the rims as the black Sato's were losing its paint :hmm: Fortunately, it was done under warrantee :)
They are 17" Bellini Bella Black Chrome:

http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/kk290/Bushidog/DSC00660.jpg
Then the search for more Horse power got me again. The garage told me that they had a fully revised ZR160 cylinder head including a the ECU. Didn't take me too long to decide that I wanted that one.
Now, I'm most likely the only ZS160VVC racing around The Netherlands :punk:

Looking good Pete, how long have you had it? Interesting to see the interior paint is looking like trophy blue there.

Nice Pete. Get the extreme spoiler next.:smile1:

Bought it from new in 2005.
You mean the under bonnet interrior? It's on the cheap (Project Drive). Most MKII's have only few layers of paint under the bonnet and no transparent finish, guess that's why it looks like TB.
@ Murray,
No extreme spoiler for me mate :-D
aww but she looks naked without spoiler! :(

I did hear of a few late cars being resprayed to suit a customer order only to find a slightly differing colour underneath, base colours used etc. It is a shame they implemented Project Drive, it's as if they knew it was going to fold, hence a useless warranty with regards corrosion etc.
True,
That's why I'm probabely gonna give her an anti-corrosion treatment in due time.
Project Drive really left out some strange things to save money :hmmm:
Had to put on the door sills myself and recently applied some black felt on the inside of the glove compartment.
@ Sarah,
Not imho ;-)
I like her just the way she is now. An extreme spoiler would draw too much attention.
Looking verynice mate:ninja:

must admit i prefere the standard wheels.. did you notice anythink when that power valve went on
Very nice example that, though i think it would look a bit better with the extreme spoiler loving the wheels though.

Nice example there Pete, I looked at one the same colour when I was looking around but it sold before I could make my mind up on it and yours is the only other one I've seen in that colour! Nice neat boot install and prefer the new wheels!
Thanks guys :-D
Love the color too. Was looking for a black one first but then I seen this one and fell immediately in love with her :lovers:
It's not that the boost valve doesn't do anything.
It increases power a bit, but not much.
It's one of those mods that on itself doesn't do much but it complements to other mods like an induction kit, bigger throttle body etc.
