We are seriously thinking of selling both of our Zeds due to financial reasons and get 1 car between the both of us! Tracey's only getting maternity pay and my boss is very unreliable! We're looking at getting an estate or 4x4. They're not going on E-bay just yet, we thought we'd give the forum 1st dibs on offers! So, is anyone interested in either/both of our cars???

why not keep one of them? its going to cost you more in the long term to sell them and buy something possible worse for the same money, the zs is a fairly big car still, but if needs must and you really need an estate then good luck on the hunt, avaoid anything french:P

Why not just sell the 180 and keep the 120?

If your boss is unreliable then I think you need to change jobs. It is no fun being the sole bread winner when the job providing the roof over your head and food on the table is unstable. Been there myself so know the problems, get stability then look forward. As for the cars keep one of them, is it just the one child? Any dogs to transport? Better the devil you know I always say.

The job itself isn't unstable it's my boss that is! He still owes me £5.5k from a year and a half ago! And yes we have the 2 of us, the baby and 2 dogs!

As said, is there any way you can keep one off them? i would be interested in the 180 if you sell it.

Do you have an amount in mind???

what interior does it have?

TBH i have no idea what they are worth these days, i lost a hell off alot on the Silver one :(

The interior is pretty standard! Normal wear and tear! Will find some pics soon!!

I think i paid £3,200 for the 180 about a year ago. But since then i've bought and got installed a PiperCross 4" cut slash exhaust cat back, put the spoiler on, put tinted rear lights in, sorted out the saggy rear bumper and reverse sensors, 2 new rear tyres and brake pads, the rear MG badge has been removed and the front badge has been changed to a gun-metal one! It's only really used at the weekends so it still has quite low mileage (approx 56K). I would like to get £4000 but i doubt that very much, so anyone can make me an offer!! Will be washing it soon and taking it for a photo-shoot this weekend so more photos to follow! I will also be putting it on e-bay soon because if it's going i want it gone sooner rather than later (or i might change my mind!!)!

Mate .......

Sell the 180 to him for £3K - and buy Archermav's hatchback for the same money !!!! You're not losing anything and getting the hatch for the dogs.

Keep the 120 for now and then if things go wrong - then sell it on.

Sorry to hear you might be leaving the fold :(

I would offer a swap for your 180 to help save running costs; but that would still leave you with two Zeds, and mine is a Saloon tooo

The 180 is a 2.5 KV6...

Personally having seen this car a number of times 'in the flesh', I'd say £3k was at least £500 short of the mark.. But that's down to Chris to decide I guess!

To be honest if you phone around a couple of specialists you'll be surprised at how little extra the 180 would cost to insure!

Try Adrian Flux, Sky Insurance, Chris Knott.. They'll all be able to quote you happy; and it's one heck of a nice car for the money! :)
