I have a question about air con. When i switch on the air con the radiator fan comes on, however, it comes on fast and gets faster, runs at a hell of a speed all the time when the air con is on, then when i switch the engine off and take the keys out the fan still runs for about 15mins. Is this normal? I've never noticed it before...:hmmm:

you may be low on gas in the air con if you goto halfords they can run a test on it

not sure how much they are on the 180's but they are cheap on the 120

Mine runs for a while after parking up and having the aircon on, i thought it was normal :p

a wee update on the air con, changed the pollen filter, hoovered out the air box and its cured the problem!!! weird....

where's a good place to ge the aircon re-gassed as mine aint all that cold.

kwik fit do a regas, n if it isnt colder when you leave then theyll give you your money back

you did indeed Ritchy. Was ordering a new back box for the Zed only to get a call when i got home to say its on back order with no idea when or if it will be delivered!!!

Kwik-Fit are doing re-gasing for ?49.99, got mine done there last year and no complaints...

well i'm talking crap cause it hasnt cured the problem, infact not even sure it is a problem but never noticed it before!!! I'm not sure if the fan running like that is normal......

a wee update on the radiator fans / air con fans issue, the air con fan has a sticky motor so when it doesnt run the left hand fan comes on fast to compensate for the right hand fan not working. My mechanic sussed it by flicking the fan round with a screw driver then it came on and the left hand fan slowed down. With both fans running when i switch of the engine both fans stop whereas before the left hand fan would run for about 10mins. Sorted!
