Well finally lost interest in the ZS after 2 hydraulic systems, a sheddist replacement kit and a full clutch assembly, in need of belt change and plenum, so took a drive around looking for an Astra SRi.

Found a reasonably priced silver 06 plated one paid the deposit and pick it up tomorrow :mama:

Spent all morning stripping out the stereo, sub amp and speakers and now its back to standard.

Will be sort of sorry to see it go as I wanted one from when they first come out, but at least i can tick it off my list of cars i wanted to have..

Shame, guess it was a matter of time before you either sold it or beat it with a twig! Best of luck with the replacement, they seem to be a popular choice these days.

Did you not fancy the Megane then?
Astras are quite decent cars, a mate has a diesel one and that shifts!

The megane had been thrashed, turbo was smoking and run as rough as a dog
