That is cheap, they may of fogot to put a 2 instead of the 1 on the add, ?2890 sound more like it, autotrader makes alot of mistakes like that

Load of crap, just sold my mk2 on a cat D stolen recovered and got ?2000 for it, had plenty of interest.

probably blanked out plates so no one clones the plates for conjestion ect, or finds the adress comes nicks bits from it

Whenever i sell a car i always blank out the plates, due to reasons above and if someone gets an insurance quote of confused etc it shows on the hpi report, i had 2 pages worth on my old yellow zed where i got an ins quotes of such websites

If someone is genuinely interested in buying the car i have no problem giving them the reg etc ;)

I actually enquired about this car yesterday as it was pretty near me and obviously very cheap! I asked has it any service history... the answer was just a simple NO. Has it got any old MOT's... again.. NO. Good start i thought!! Was just about to ask arranging a viewing when he told me its a cat C write off but he recons its been fully repaired... Hmm. I did get the REG off of him. I'm steering well clear from this one!! I done a quick 'my text check' with the reg and got the reply "YH05XEF has multiple insurance loss records. Most serious is vehicle damage catagory C. Loss date 17/12/2009"

So my advice would be to steer clear! :)
