The fan does not work on settings 1 & 2 on my ZS, the same with my partners Rover 25, anyone got any ideas what the problem might be and how to fix it?
will be the heater resistor, abot ?10 off ebay and a 2 minute fix:) dont worry haha

Think they used the same kind if resistors on all mg and rovers. It's cheaper and stronger to replace them ur self using ceramic resistors

if i'm not mistaken its the same on the Honda Civic, (same kinda shape as the 45/ZS), its a cheap bollocks design but easy to sort...

Done it twice on my ZS, dead easy to replace...........
change your pollen fitler as wel lwhile your at it, leaves ect cause the motor to have to much load on it and can cause it to blow

Problem solved on ZS and Rover 25, bought 2 resistors off e-bay for ?11.99 each, only took half an hour to fit both, cheers for the information lads
When I am at the scrappies I always have a nose for good resistor packs, the one in my old zs was out a civic

Going to scrap yard at weekend for a couple of bits, might see if they have any to keep as spare.
Don't suppose you know about belt replacement prices do you Craig?

Always good to have some spares :)
When I got the belts done on my 180, it cost ?600 quid at an xpart dealer mate
