The only other V6 i know of is the 2.0 KV6. Which was in the 45 and 75.

a couple of people have put the v6 into a zr but its tight, the 160 would have better perfomance than the 2 litre anyway its a 1.8 vvc

the zr engines are 1.4 1.8 1.8 vvc 2 litre l series diesel
zs 1.4 1.6 1.8 2.5 2 litre l series
zt 1.8 1.8 turbo, 2.5 v6 and bmw 2 litre, nt seen any 1.8 turbo zt's actually just 75's

this is a very late zr its on an 07 plate but the torque a a v6 would it be better than the vvc plus there is 10 bhp inbetween both of them. i like the sound of a v6 and think it could be quite an east tunerble engine as in cams maybe a small super charger

unless it's a different manufacturers V6 then it will be no more tuneable than the 180's tbh.

Whatever zr's your looking at they are conversions, throw up a link for us tae have a gander at:)

its the same block as a kv6, so not that tunable n pretty much a one off car if it is a 2 litre kv6 in a zr, never seen nor heard of one before

Thee were 2 rover 200/zr converted with the 2.5 kv6 engine.

One was done by myself, and the other was done by Andew Morrison of Morrison Garages in Scotland.

Andrews car was built for racing in the Scottish nationals, and the one i built was for a customer as a road going car.

Andrews car pushed out 315bhp.

The one i did see power to 200bhp.

I have recently wondered if the Civic Type R 2l would fit in the ZS because there are super chargers out there for that engine and they push out about 300bhp.

i work in an ex rover dealer n never come across one, if you want to find out for certain go to the MGZR.com and ask ex xpower, he worked in the bit where they did all the engine bits

from exXpower himself

No never a 2.0 KV6 ZR of any type, production or modded.

No MG 2.0 iirc even the 160 ZT was 2.5 iirc

Only 2.0 KV6 was fitted to Rover 45 and Rover 75 and the ZS Touring car,

Hope this helps

not trying to be negative to you here simon just dont want you to buy this and think its come out the factory like it, if it has got the 2 litre fitted however you might want to fit the 180 engine to it

Just get a ZR160. That will be quicker than a 2l v6 in its std form anyway. The extra weight would kill performance. Rev the 160s hard and they fly.
Buy mine if you want :)
