Strange metallic Noise

had this for a while now and its starting to get on my wick a bit now

The symptoms are this:

It sounds as if metal is grinding on metal it only does it on mebbe 1/4 lock turning to the left not to the right (front left wheel it sounds like its coming from

and it seems to be a tad worse when the car is cold

Any ideas guys??

yeah id take the wheels off and look for any signs of witness marks on components ect:)

what do i need to look for

yeah basically mate any signs of rubbing, scores on the back of the discs ect, marks on arches ect

Could be the dirt shield behind the disc, maybe even a small stone trapped in there
