For sale is my much loved MG ZS 180 (2.5V6 Engine) in Trophy Blue.
Just a tad over 56,000 miles, full service history, Tax and MOT till Decemeber 2010, half leather interior, Kenwood 6 CD changer and head unit, full Piper stainless steel exhaust fitted by Demon Tweeks.
Only bad points are there is a small dent under the spoiler, and the usual stone chip here and there as you would expect for a 9 year old car.

hi mate im not after one just comparing to mine as mine is a 2001 (y) 61k fsh with belts and water pump just been done and in A1 condition and i think i would be lucky if i was to sell to get ?1800 so i think you will be doing good if you get ?1200 for it as sum will have to pay out ?450 to ?850 on having the belt / water pump done as soon as they buy it as the belts are due at 90k or 6years so needs doing asap
just letting you know as most ppl here know what to look out for when buying you might be better off on auto trader and hope they dont know how dear the belt change is

Fair comment, but ?1200 is taking the ****, even if the belts need doing..iv literally just spent ?800 on a new clutch, so the price is reflecting that.
If anybody wants to make me an offer then feel free to,

hi mate im only letting you know what they go for as ppl wont pay ova ?1200 for an early one even with low miles. When they can pick a 52 53 reg with 70 to 80k on clock with fsh and with belts done for ?1600 to ?2000.
I know ?1200 sound low and if you ask me it far to low as these cars are great but it just the way it is, you would be best off keepin it garaged for 5year and then sell it as they are like they 205 gti will slowly go up in price are they become rare.
Plus i paid for my zs 180 (Y) with 44k on the clock 2an half year ago ?2400 with fsh and had just had new clutch fitted and im the 3rd owner and it only worth now with the belts done ?1750 to ?2000 with 61k on clock hope you sell it but be ready to drop your price

Says it has FSH so surely any MK1 180 with FSH should of had belts done so I would guess they had been!

its a really nice example mate and i hope you get a good price with no timewasters but ?2150 is a bit optimistic considering the belts haven't been done, not sure what your expecting from offers though but whoever buys it will be getting a really nice looking car...

all depends i guess. the guy that bought it off me had been looking for one for a while locally, when he saw it he didnt ask any questions about belts/pumps etc and just handed the cash over and deal was done.
