Guys George and I are comming up to knockhill a week thursday for the dreadnought track night
I am in the track preped Zs and George the vvc Zs
Any of u fancy some passenger laps pop down
How much is it to get in ross

I could come up got nowt else on would be good to put a face to the forza voice
What time is the track night Ross, if it is a reasonable time after work and I can make it then I WILL be there with helmet!

You could try ringing Brian at Dreadnought.
Myself and Ross have personal invites so dont know much about the night.
It could be already filled up as it is a popular event with the Dreadnought customers.
If anyone is contemplating passenger rides, they will need to get there by 5pm to receive a briefing.

Passengers dont need to pay, but if you dont have a helmet(pardon the pun) you will need to hire one.

yeah couldnt turn them down, they should be 360 quid each plus side mounts... they weigh 5.6kg each or somthing daft lol sadly i used the mounts you made, and butchered them, so they still a little heavy but much more suportive and better looking :) cost me about 100 quid to upgrade after selling the old ones

For those of you who are planning to go on track:
Be there for 5.30pm. Session briefing as at approx. 5.45pm (miss it and you won't get on)
Track opens at 6pm for 2 hours open pit lane
Remember and bring your driving licence!
Helmets are available on the day if you don't have your own
Cost is ?70 per driver and passengers / spectators are free. Passengers need to sign on at the same time as the drivers
The limit for the night is 35 cars, and yesterday there were only 6 spaces left so phone quickly if you want one. 01877 331099 (garage opens again 8am Monday)
Have a card at the ready as you need to pay over the phone to reserve a space. There will be no option to pay on the day and no refunds are given

Not that I know of, I never have :mml:
Charlesworth, I'd put 3 degrees of negy on front and 1 degree on back. If your on slicks then 4 degrees on front and 2 on back. Rear toe should be parallel and front toe just a touch toe out.
Remember, this is a track setup only and can be really twitchy.

I would have loved to have gone to this! But sadly I cant.
Looks like a good number of folks will turn up!
The zed needs the disks repalcing and and belt changed so not about to risk it on the track!
I also have to work on Thursday so that knocks the idea of leaving work early as well!

Well the Rain stayed away and the sun even came out which was a big suprise to the southern visitors, Tracey and I had a great night and would like to thank Ross for taking us out on the track, I would love to have went out in the ZS VVC but the night was cut short when a fiesta met a tyre wall. Great to meet new people from the forum to put faces to the names.

Can only echo Marcus brilliant night great to meet Ross George and Alan not to mention jack goff who took me out in george's car and managed not to kill both us the occupants of the m3 the bloke who spun the caterham and georges mental vvc powered zs on the exit of the chicane amazing control and also good to catch up with some of our local members.

Feel quite left out, us poor southern lot, sounds like you had a lot of fun.
Pity about the Fiesta, no one wants to end up on the end of a tow rope. Looks like a few ???'s to get that straight.

Thanks to all those who attended, was a good night even though it was cut short by the fiesta.

Howdo's guys. just got in
nice to meet you all yesterday, i had a good time despite the brake problems which diddnt really cause any problems on track.
I hope you enjoyed the passenger laps to those who i took out, sorry if the car was a bit noisy lol, i never really set it up as you saw, i just tweeked the suspension at the start to be a bit stiffer and left it... i certainly felt i got faster towards the end. the car performed faultlessly but i could feel the tyres going off after 2 or 3 laps
Again nice to meet you and thanks for comming by..
P.S sorry KEVG i felt really bad not being able to take you out, the car is far to low, i looked at the tyres this morning and there is a few signs of rubbing which im hoping to sort for donny on sunday :)

Sorry for my non chattyness last night, had been a long day and my mate in the clio was attending his first tracknight! My brakes took a bit of a bashing last night. Had to get new pads and disks today. Heres pics of the pads -
