Some of you may know some plank drove into my blue track zs180 a while ago. I planned on reapairing it as it wasnt a bad write off. Then the insurance payed out 2.5k for it (Get in!!! it only booked in at about ?1100.....result!!!) Then I got offered ?2.5 as it was smashed up. So for finance reasons it had to let it go.

Missed it more that I thought I would, well I missed the performance and noise more than anything :)
Always wanted a mk2180 in black or silver and when I saw Guestys for sale I thought why not.

Picked it up the other week after meeting Paul. Top guy!

Thought it seemed a little sluggish, but thought it would compared to my old one (that did the 1/4 mile at pod in 13.7 the day after I sold it....lol)
But it still seemed slowish considering it has full j/s exhaust system and interwing setup....?
After closer inspection the balance motor wasnt working. So removed it along with the power motor and resoldered the contacts.

The ITG filter was clogged with dirt and had started to pull the crap through into the manifold:eek:, so removed the manifold and cleaned through and changed the ITG for a k+N cone I had spare.

What a differance! It now goes like it should.

Jay kindly fitted some VIS indicators for me on sunday, cheers mate! and the VIS works as it should now.

So now just ordered 6litres of Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 (?62...!!), thermostat (leaking), OAT antifreeze, pollen+oil+fuel filter to give it a service.

Also have a new s/s 12" silencer box to weld on the decat pipe. It sounds fantastic fully decated but is to droney for me on low revs.

Will get some more decent pics up soon

Looks great mate, its a tidy example wont take much to get it mint. It sounded awsome as you drove off the other day, was popping like a rally car!! Could always swap manifolds with me if its too much for you

Cheers for testing out the VIS kits too,

Got a nice one there. Funny how some sell and end up buying another! Can't be a bad thing.

Nice looking, does the change in air filter make much of a difference to performance or sound?
