Sell up or modify.....?

Hi all,
Having a bit of a head vs heart moment at the minute. Thinking about selling the ZS for something quicker or just a bit different, but not having a lot of luck.
After a garage offered me ?1700 in part ex (to which i almost passed out lol), im thinking about keeping it and doing a few mods instead.

Any opinions on what i should do, either sell up or what kinda cheapish mods would look nice?
Im thinking along the lines of grey powder coated wheels and tinted windows for a start....

Well if u are looking for a bit more power u should speek to george a bout maby getting the car vcc powered and u should get about another 40 hp !!!!!!

And then maby induction , remap and exhaust after :)

Nice car btw! Can't really comment as ?1700 part/ex is only part of the budget here. What would the final budget be? That way we can see what figure gets you what alternative. It's always easy for us to say 'no! don't do it!' but when you are unhappy with any car for whatever reason your mind is often made up already. If it is just performance, then are you after something really quick, or just quicker than the 110/120 you have now? There is always the VVC conversion, or if a 110 why not go for 135 cams? Otherwise it'll mean trading up to a 180 ;)

Why are you thinking of selling? Is it the looks of the zed or its proformance? If you like the looks as Mick says why not go for a 180. You could prob pick one up for the same or less than your 120.

IIRC yours has Red alcantara. It's a great car. You could get ?2800 - ?3K private sale easy, which would get you a really nice Mk2 180.

I'm no mod guru but the guys will need to know your budget to advise you properly on what you'll get for the money.

I think your car looks great but depends on what performance power your after,

Mine had the 180 kit but no fog lights, I thought it was strange as well.

I thought that when i bought it, i thought all + models had foglights as standard?

Id get a 180 if it wasnt for insurance :/ Was looking at an Ibiza 20vT, was miles quicker but doesnt match the ZS in the looks department

mine was a + without fogs as standard either!

Have to say your car is stunning.... if you want something really fast, is it an option to get it outside of your every-day car and have something for 'fun'

I guess as others have said it dpends on your budget and your insurance costs....

I'd say keep it, or go try a 180 - if that fits the bill then you can go ad upgrade :)
