Picked up my first zs 180 at the weekend was sad to see my 120 go but have to say the 180 makes me smile every time I put my foot down and in most aspects I've noticed it's better holds the road perfecty No matter what I put it through :-)

Trust me mate....they have a limit lol.

Get decent tyres on it, and have your wheels laser aligned, that REALLY sets them on fire. Gives you more confidence pushing them too. Also, you'll find the rear will let go before the front end on these...well that was the case with mine anyway.

If your good enough you can get some SICK lift off oversteer drifts on them :D

I've had the wheels laser aligned yesterday. Found something bad about the car tho the fuel economy lol what kind of rev range do I need to be changing for decent fuel economy ?

Have to day, I'm looking forward to getting into my second 180, even if it is a mk1 over my previous mk2.
Will be a fun drive from Leighton Buzzard to Perth!

Under 3000rpm so the vis doesn't kick in IIRC. Did this for a tank and got about 32-33 mpg.

Trying doing that with a full Janspeed exhaust system.

Trust me....it's impossible :p

If you gentle, the 180 can be kind to the wallet. But it also has its dark fun side, give it some welly and the wallet goes ouch, but your mouth goes "SMILE":happy2:

Just Got Mine out from its resting place after 2 weeks lying dormant

When i get the urge to sell it i just jump iun and go for a blast around changes my mind straight away

Don't get me wrong here - you don't need fancy exhausts to love the sound of the car. It helps - but they sound great anyway. The tank I did wasn't frustrating - it was a challenge that I gave myself.

The next one was the opposite - I got about 21 -

Bottom line is that you don't get a 180 for economy - but if you need it to be frugal - it can be. Just knowing what it'll do or can sound like is enough for some people without having to drive it hard all the time.
