as above, after a dirt cheap ZS. Prefer something with HGF, broken in someway (apart from bodywork) as it will be a project car. Tax / mot etc does not matter.

It's a turbo project so a new engine will be getting banged in it anyway

How much is dirt cheap mate, we get a few different cars in all the time. Not had that many mg's but got this one http://coventry.gumtree.com/coventry/48/68220748.html you could have for 1200 its a bit dear for what you want but is imaculate in my opinion.
