Rite ive been having runing probs with my zs 180 for a couple of months now and got a mates obd reader and it came up with this fault code PO137 o2 sensor circuit low voltage bank 1 sensor 2

Am i rite in thinkin that this relates to the second lambda sensor has failed

sounds about right but wouldn't a faulty o2 sensor not affect the running after all when you decat it the mil light comes on but the car still drives ok, could it be one of the cats on its way out.. or a combo of both

Well ive change the plugs leads coil packs cleaned the air filter and had the crank and cam sensor check are workin and the car has a random issue where the revs drop and the car struggles to move so hopefully once ive fit the new o2 sensor and mil kit as i have adecat the prob should be sorted

I can't find spasific codes for MG/Rover but what I have found says

P0173 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 2)

assuming your second character is a zero and not an OHH.

The site says that any code over P1000 is a manufacturer code so I assume that below would be a general code.

If one of the pre cats is failing you may well get running problems, the 180 runs okay with a traditional decat because you are only removing the main cat, not the pre cats, and manifolds such as janspeed will work as they remove both pre cats.

RimmerBros list both of the O2 sensors for the 2.0/2.5L KV6, pre- and post-cat.
If the OBD code is to be believed, the one you'll be wanting is the more expensive of the two (typical) here (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-MHK101086) from here (http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID003188).

Id suggest a trip to a scrappy, try and swap out with some second hand parts to figure out exactly what needs changing. Of course, it could also be the wiring loom or a plugged cat.
