I often wonder what i'd replace monty with, the obviouse choice would be a 180, but am not sure i would get a kick outa the 180 after taking my car from 115bhp, upto whatever i've got at the moment??

but these do seem very tempting....

Oh man if it were'nt for the price of fuel. You'de certainly notice the difference going from a derv to a V8.

They are really tempting, for a couple of reasons, they're good value and a awful lot of car for not a huge amount of money, being a yank V8 there is a good selection of tuning goodies if you desire, the only drawback is running costs, petrol isn't going to get any cheaper, and a V8 ZT is not going ever be very economical.

Still hasn't put me off the idea though:-D

You'll definatly notice a difference between your tuned diesel and a 180, my 180 easily sees off 330d BMW's when they change gear and I can keep going.

However if it wasn't for my wifes few that a ZT is an old mans car and my lack of funds I would be on the look out for a cheap 280. It'd have to be cheap so I could afford to add it to the fleet as my 180 ain't goin' nowhere.

Good for you, my 180 is coming to the grave with me! I love it to bits, and it always cheers me up.

Totally agree, never fails to put a smile on my face.

That 260 is really nice (perhaps not those wheels...), but crikey... ?10k?
