I'd personally offer under a grand... because of the work that needs doing and I would assume that more work would need to be done...

Oh and I'm not a fan of silver... Looks too much like a Rover 45...

No history will be a risk, no file of receipts? SRS light is probably a poor under seat connection, normal problem. Warped discs won't cost the earth. Other bits are fixable, if it drives well and no actual signs of severe wear then make an offer if you feel confident. If that were me I would go over it with a fine tooth-comb and if happy make an offer.

At the end of the day the car is worth what you are willing to pay for it :)

If you do all the work yourself then chances are offering 1.5k - 2k will still be a bargain because you can fix everything yourself cheaper than the dealer (although point out to the seller the dealer prices to fix) Otherwise it could be another 1.5k - 2k bill from the main stealer to fix everything ;)

Oh and I recommend a mini service as soon as you get any car, maybe worth doing a full service on this one though :)

Can I just point out as well that that car is a ZS not a ZT as it is badged with...

Also the MG badge looks photoshopped on... hmmm...

Alarm bells are starting to ring in my head about this car now...

Trouble is that with no SH it really could have done 150K. It may be backed up by old MOTs ?

The crack to the bumper may have damaged some of the clips as it looks like it's sagging a bit. (Standard issue on the Mk2 - easily DIY fixed - but another point for negotiation)

If the car's been up for sale since the start of December - dates on the photos - he make take an offer, but at ?2.5K I doubt he'll take any less than 2K.

If it drives OK - listen to your gut feeling. Bottom line is that it's a young car and if things do go a bit bent - there's enough know-how on here to put things right.

If the mileage can be verified - for me, ?1750 - 2K max.

The zt badge... no idea mate maybe the old one was damaged and they got the wrong one who knows.
Just be mega careful.. in the gap in histroy mine had its had a new engine fitted!!! but either side of the history looks ok so even with history it can still have a dark past... and with no history you could be playing hopscotch on a mine field.
