nothing daft because im keeping the standard internals on this one so 230-240 at 4-5 psi.. if this works though im going forged and bigger and aiming for 300bhp at 9-10 psi.. maybe still gotta work that one out though.. oh and do the first one haha

If your gunna turbo it have you looked at using the old rover v6 inlet as this dont use the vis motor and would give you a more reliable power plus you could proberly get away with 7psi and could see 250bhp

I would've thought the VIS system would need to be removed anyway? It'd be set up completely wrong.
Assuming this is a 180, of course.
If it were a 1.8, has anyone ever done a turbo VVC? That'd be awesome.

Yea the vis would have to go because it wouldn't be needed and prob wouldn't stand the force of the air going through.
Which old v6 rovers would they be on?

The metal inlet manifold as fitted to the rover 825 kv6 DID use vis valves, albeit of different design.

The supercharger ran 5.5 psi and made on average 245-255bhp.

i dont know if its any interest to you but im selling my 180. its NOT running at the moment. the thermostat housing litterally fell in half, i brought new housing and thermostat, and then as removing the old one, accidently damaged another plastic bit of hose coming off of it and a few of the rubber pipes. prior to this the car was running well.

it also needs rear bumper and boot lid as its had a bit of a bang before i brought it.

torphy blue, got the extreme spoiler which isnt at all damaged. im only looking for 300 for it otherwise im going to be breaking it. use the parts like wheels, breaks and seats for my del sol lol.

let me know if your interested mate and if you are ill get some pics up.

cheers
