Has anybody fitted an auto dim mirror from a 75 / zt?

I was thinking of trying to fit one of these auto dim mirrors but i have never seen or heard anyone mention that they have fitted one... Is it possible?

I got one from eBay with a veiw (no pun intended) to doing the same, the problem is that the mount on the mirror is a BMW one and the mount on the ZS screen is a Rover one.

I've been pondering which way is the best way to see (ops, another pun?) how to make it work. I'll proberbly Rovertize the mirror.
