Definately the spoiler :s

The noise i'm hearing is identical to the noise the spoiler makes when i close the boot, move it gently side to side etc

unbolt it, remove it, apply copper grease, bolt it back on and tighten it up.

I'll give that a try, was also thinking of getting some very thin felt stuff and applying to both top and bottom parts of the spoiler. Can u tighten the allen bolts?

There should be a thin layer of sticky backed rubber between the body work & the spoiler. If it's not there trying cutting a small piece of bike innertube (or felt as you mentioned above) in the same shape & fitting that in between the body work & the spoiler.

If its not stuck on its not oridginal. take it of and put a bead of pu around it and bolt it back on. Wont budge then.

Ahhh! I'll try tightening it up first and then take it from there. Can u tighten those allen bolts at the top part?

I take it, its the evo/ extreme style spoiler ?

Then No you can take them out and it will make no differance. There just coarse screws. I took mine out when I had it painted so I didnt get paint on them.
The three bits are stuck together.

Kevg's spoiler whistles, when the cars not even moving, it's mental!

Wee update of this

Went out this morning and evaluated the spoiler further. Opened the boot and my Fiancee wiggled it and it never squeaked! So looked at my boot catch and thought hmm maybe it's that!? So wrapped black tape round it and closed the boot, went out earlier and no squeak!! :) So after accusing my poor spoiler it turned out to be the boot catch squeaking on the metal bit on the bottom of the boot :)
