Heating stopped working

Hi. Wonder if anyone can help. My heating has stopped working suddenly. It has been working only on settings 3 and 4 for a while now but this morning no matter what temp the dial is set to the air is cool. I have checked the cooling system and that appears to be all fine. Coolant level is fine and no leaks. Water pump working and engine has never overheated. Any ideas please. Thanks.

heating speeds will be the resistor, and the cold heating will either be an airleak in the system or the heater control valve not functioning properly/cables fell off at the box

the blower prob is def the resistor just repaired mine myself with a kit from ebay , a bit fiddly but if you can use a soldering iron you will be ok ,

Very common fault, but luckily a very easy fix too. I think all MGR's resistors fail at some point.
