cooling warning level sensor located under the expansion tank. just pops off without need to drain the cooling system [PROVIDING IT WASNT ALREADY ON PERMANENTLY]

Probably wont be able to afford all items but will give me an idea of what i can.

Havent got round to getting under the car yet to take the exhaust off. The manis will be up for grabs but quite a few people are interested... Not sure on the fairest way to sell... Also would like to see the full set up with sport cat and duplex go as one sale.

Also what interior does your car have, Grey Axis? if so, how much for the drivers seat and can you provide pics before committing to buy, all posted to Glasgow?

Need to check the radiator, did loose a load of coolant after the crash but it could be ok and only be a split hose. Which side trims do you mean?? Inside either side of the screen?? My interior is the blue one immaculate apart from a 2 inch split on the passenger seat. Drivers was never used as I had the sparco in.

Got quite a bit more done today... Oil drained, brakes bled, P/S drained, coolant drained.. Fuel tank taken off and emptied into the girlfriends pug. Also a few other bits and bobs done ready for the engine coming out like battery tray and ECU out, washer bottle taken off, expansion tank, brake reservoir and PAS reservoir.

These are prone to rust on mkii mine is undersealed so sound as a pound.

Front o/s light (1 bracket missing and 1 repaired) will still fit fine

Front sensors are up for grabs. Haven't got round to taking the rear off yet. I have a feeling the rings will break if I try to shift them so will probably sell the shafts as a whole.

So about 3 weeks ago the shell was taken away to be crushed. Didn't bother with trying to get it to the scrap yard and weigh it in myself as I was pushed for time etc. Ended up paying ?20 for a guy with a HIAB to take it to the breakers. Soon after the engine was picked up by a pallet courier and went on its way to the Netherlands.

After being in two minds whether to buy her back in the first place for breaking I am so glad that I did and would recomend anyone to do the same. I managed to make quite a tidy sum (obviousley performance parts fitted to the car helped bump the profit up)

I had a lot of organising to do from renting a garage to sorting logistics of moving parts to storage etc. I really had no idea where to start but everything planned out perfectly. At the begining I started a spread sheet which kept a record of items sold, postage cost, ebay fees, buy back cost etc and calculated my final profit This was brilliant as I'd have no idea what I made if I hadn't recorded it all.

Its gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside to know that she lives on in peices around the world. Many thanks to everyone that has bought things off me!

Worked out well considering I went in blind. Seriously doubt anyone would mistake an Evo for an MG. Maybe the other way around. LOl..:judge:

No comparison.... Its a mad man, Turbo is relentless... feels like there is a train up your ass pushing you along!! So composed on the corners and when you really push it on the tight ones the feel of the AYC kicking in is immense!!

A shame but as I say she lives on in other cars now... Her heart (the engine) is running a Rover 75 around the Netherlands now :D
