found one close to me and for the right money.

Can I afford to run one? Nope!

Did I sell a ZS V6 only afew weeks ago? Yup!

Have I only just brought a ZR? Yup!

One tip. Never look over autotrader and ebay when you have just sold a ZS
it makes you want another even when you cant have one :thumbsdown:

Got all excited the other day, looking at eBay and saw a TY 160 Trophy for sale up in the Midlands.

Even looked at plane ticket from Soton to East Midlands, then started worrying about feedback of 1, plus not being able to get in and out of the car, without crawling in on all fours, so decided against it.

Looked at Autotrader last night, Purple MGF 1.8 vvc R reg ?750 ono.

Doh!!!! Trying to recapture my youth when I had the midget, then the sensible hat takes over. No where to park it, no garage, but then its only for the summer, aghhhhhhhhhhh.

I've had insurance quotes and it's quite high cos only got 1 yr ncd but how much is a yrs tax and what sort of mpg can I expect to get??

Tax is ?245 for ones registered before 55 plate and you should get 20 something mpg mixed driving.

Over the winter with short runs to work I was getting less than 15mpg.

This time of year going out I will get low to mid twentys but boy do I love it.

When I say I cant aford to run it, I should have said I cant aford to run my non paying free loading brother in law to work and back every day. :sly:

Ive took mine of the road for a bit so he finds his own transport, Or to fit all new brakes and exhaust cats and mani's. :thumbsup:

Seats are very comfy. Slept in mine for all 4 days I did the Wales Rally 2010..

Bloody hell some of you are suffering poor mpg! Mine does 30s all day long and even on the Goodwood trackday I was surprised at how little fuel I used that day. The remap and lightened car makes a huge difference.
