View Full Version : Mg zs 2.0td facelift breaking
Hi guys, im breaking my ZS, i keep having problems and i need a reliable car to get me around. i know i wont get the money i want for it selling it (after i crashed resulting in both rear quarters having dents) so im breaking it for bits! ill get some pics up later! everything is available at the moment including:
Front and Rear Bumpers, freshly painted in nightfire red with carbon fibre (real carbon fibre not the wrap stuff, ill get pics later to put on here!) STILL FOR SALE!
Freshly painted 180 kit bumper body kit parts, 180 spoiler, and 180 front wings STILL FOR SALE!
anthracite grey 11 spoke wheels STILL FOR SALE!
powerflow back box SOLD
wingy stainless De-cat pipe and wingy bigger stainless downpipe STILL FOR SALE!
egr blanking kit STILL FOR SALE!
roose motorsport silicon boost hoses (in yellow) SOLD
sdi injectors SOLD
k4.80 green filter (hardly used) SOLD
doors, boot, bonnet etc. STILL FOR SALE!
all interior (have a set of mk2 half leathers and mk1 half leathers with red inserts) STILL FOR SALE!
engine, gearbox, ecu etc. all for sale HOWEVER car was not running when i started breaking it, im 99% sure it was an electrical fault somewhere, but with the amount of time myself and others have spent trying to find the problem i have lost interest! i will sell all parts as working, and if they dont work i will take the item back and give a full refund. STILL FOR SALE!
Car will be located in Coventry as of the weekend, so people are more than welcome to come and see it to see if they want parts, collection preferred but i will post at buyers expense! I can deliver but i have a V6 now so it will cost a bit just for my fuel!

if you plan to strip the pump make sure you lock it up properly before removal.
You should be able to make a fair bit from selling the ancilleries seperately...
PS: some-grab that downpipe - they make quite a noticeable difference ;)
How do I lock the pump in position?

What's the condition of the alloys and the tyres?
How much you after?
Wheels all have marks on them, so if you want them perfect they will need re-durning. Tyres are all decent tread. Make me an offer I'll try n get some pics later!

is it a hatch or saloon, what is the shape of the powerflow box and how free flowing is it? Some pics of it would be great.

It is a hatch I'll get pics up of the back box when I can.

they are thick layer silicone hoses molded to the OE shape that will NOT split or perish.....
we had them commissioned over on .org for a few group buys but they are available still from roose motorsport..... twice the price of OE.. but imo worth it if you are still on original pipework.
I had my set butchered - which i was a bit miffed about but hey ho...

i do have an oringal gear knob, however if i was driving a bit "hard" it did like to fly off into the back seats!
the down pipe is stainless steel, and larger than the standard 1, so helps flow the gases better. that combined with a de-cat helps alot on the diesel!
heres links to pictures of the car (at different stages but you get the idea) ideally it shows the bumpers with the carbon fibre on (real not wrap) and the anthracite wheels

How difficult was it to carbon wrap the front splitter?
Newcastle is a bit far for me to deliver I'm afraid.
The carbon wasn't the easiest, it took a few attempts to get it perfect!
Right to people that have bought things I'm working away now this week so I will try my best to get stuff sent out as soon as possible!

Are they not the Matrix Seats? I thought they were Faux Leather... and the Monacos (with the inserts) were half leather...
Could be wrong though?

im not honestly sure if they are half leather or faux leather! just assumed that they were half leather to be honest!

as far as im aware yes! never had any problems!
right im (hopefully) finished working silly hours at work now, so everything will be sorted soon! everything that isnt sold on here will be listed on ebay, so if people are interested i can post when items are listed!
right, im still working away, but not silly hours anymore so hopefully i can get more bits stripped off the car! ALOT OF PARTS ARE STILL FOR SALE! so just message me!
