Well done pal - great colour - great car. Won't the exhaust just go straight over onto the new one ?

I believe the mk2 rear exhaust sections are about 3" longer, so it would be hidden away...

The MK1 exhaust is shorter than the MK2 Dan as the MK2 has a longer bumper. It would fit but the tail pipes would be mostly hidden under the bumper and wouldn't stick out.

Surely you could get some part of it extended with a bit of pipe welded on in the middle or some sort of tail extension though ?

Looks a peach. Have you noticed any difference yet having now driven both a MK1 and a MK2?

Jim previously had a yellow mk2 180 and a mk1 180 before that so will have plenty to compare with!

Having had one of each, the mk1 feels better built than the mk2 but you can't beat the mk2 looks IMHO.

Agree with Blair here however it is a lot quieter inside with the current exhaust....but who knows what the future holds!!!!

As per pm, lovely motor mate, well pleased for you! Any decent exhaust place will be able to mod the mk1 system to fit. 4-3 to you, for the moment :)

Jim should be one extra up on away goals cause all his have been 180's whereas you wimped out for a 120 lol.
Nice car by the way jim.what is the official name for that blue as opposed to the gers blue as hinted earlier? lol

IMO I think the colour coded valance may be due to being a very late car but I don't think it's been in a bump when I looked at it and I think it is a crakin car with the leather

And this one is very nice one of the best after experiencing 2 mk1's and a mk2 as well :p

Yeah I texted you Corey about that bumper with no reply. Just usually see them on the lower spec 110 or the rover 45 equivelant. I pondered spraying mine on the mk2 but never got round to it. Maybe someone decided they would?!

Mine's an 06 plate in Ignition blue and mine isn't CC'd. Looks great though ....
