Strut brace for ZS 180

Am i right in beleiving that a mx5 upper strut brace will fit the zs 180?
If so which one? model etc

Have seen some attempts but it'll need a direct route to make a difference, seen too many going around the houses to clear stuff and becoming a work of art and nothing else.

You are correct. Mine is a rear brace from an MX-5.

The brackets only allow for one stud on each side to mount it from but I have now cut new baseplates and just need to cut the old ones off and find someone who can weld them on for me. Only cost me ?15 so it wasnt really a loss if it didnt fit.

The metal for the baseplates only cost a tenner so the brace, once fitted correctly will have cost about ?25!! Bargain

As for how well it works, not sure yet as my car is off the road so often I havent really had a chance to test it. I like a stiff car and am currently working on a slight modification to a Honda belly brace so that will fit too!
