Has anyone tried "OBDII Trouble Code Lookup by Farrell"

It is also available as an android app but I can't find the link right now.

It doesn't list MG or Rover but does have Honda and Land Rover, will these cover my MG's?

Any thoughts?

To me it would be useful to have the codes with me so that if the MIL comes on and the scangauge shows a code I can see what it is, there and then.

The OBD codes are universal for most cars so for example if a car shows P0153 (the most common fault) it means O2 sensor on whatever car is showing it.

Certain makes have different codes though. Most cars codes begin with P, some begin with U and I think theres something else too.

I havent got a codes app on my phone so I will look for this one on android thanks!

On the Iphone the best one I found was called 'car trouble' and not only has all the codes but useful to a car novice if they break down as it gives a basic diagnosis of what could be wrong through a series of questions.
