Absolutely stunning smokey, sits very well! Loving them rims still.

One thing that caught my eye there, the 2 off red wires to the right of the centre console, spoils the view. I take it they are the starter wires?

Quick question, your avatar shows 3 very nice accessories that really show the cars 'potential'. Don't suppose Ralph can supply them can he?

Boot Hill Bandit
07-11-07, 05:29 PM
What 3 accessories are we talking about?? I am sure Ralph can get hold of most things people want. You know the number I am sure........01634 388999 knowing him he is still at the garage now lol

They look to be fairly tall blonde and quite curvy. If he can supply them then I am sure there are a few legal issues but put me down for half a dozen. Ta

I can't see them sticking to the bonnet though, might be a bit slippery.........................with any lick, oops luck ;)

Southern Storm

As long as they don't scratch it, I can handle them being a bit slippery.

yep, just for fun !!!

back to original question smokey...wheres yours ???

Southern Storm
20-01-08, 11:15 PM
The pointlessness of it stops me putting it on mine. However I might just get remote start. Got that on the Scirocco and its lovely on a cold morning getting in a nice warm car.
Where are people putting their start buttons?

Maxfly
21-01-08, 05:56 AM
lovely motor first of all!!! some start buttons have put where the ciggie lighter was, others in front of the gear lever. I want one too, had one in the zr to me it's a must have gimmick!! Even cars that come with start buttons usually have to have the key in the ignition e.g. civic. You don't need it, but then really you don't need a lot of things cars have nowadays! Leccy windows? why, my arms works fine, rains sensing wipers....i can tell when there is rain on the windscreen ta very much!! :D:D

arwilson80
21-01-08, 08:55 AM
The 3 places i have seen people put the start buttons are:-

- In the ciggy lighter (i like this one best as when you close the ash tray it's hidden)
- down on the flat piece of the centre console between the gear lever and the little pocket
- to the left or right of the steering wheel in one of the blanks.

Thanks for posting the pic smokey, good place to put it and saves drilling big holes in your plastic! Pic shows what a good job you've made of painting the trim as well, might be another mod on the list for me...:hmmm:
