Had an email from them earlier as the car is approaching 10 years old. Thought if would be a few hundred.
?750 from an independent garage, ?920 from a main dealer!
It covers everything including MOT, but that's ridiculous!

Almost buy another one for that, have it for 2 years and you could.

I was with them last year. Never again. Car was off of the road for 4 weeks with HGF. It took Warranty Direct almost 1 week to give the right to go ahead but then they would not pay for the modified MLS gasket as it was not a standard issue.
I had a hire car for the whole time my MG was off of the road. All they would pay me was for one week. In the end I was over ?600 out of pocket.
When the renewal came through it had gone up ?193 because I had made an over the top claim.
It ran out in July and I told them why I was not rejoining but that didn't stop them phoning me twice a day until I spoke to the chairman direct on the phone. No apologies but at least the phone calls stopped.

Waste of money those things, they will always find a way of wriggling out of it.

?920 would buy you a rough ZS as a spare!

?920 would get you a good 180! I'd be more than happy with that for mine!

They phoned earlier and said they could do a 'special' price of ?520...
When my insurance is only ?250 and its worth ?1500 tops then thats about ?500 too much!
