I am afraid it's not as easy as that lol. You will need an amplifier to run the Bass box. You can get one from halfords I think for about ?50. As you said if the wires are there already then it should be straight forward. I had it in my zt and it sounded great a big improvement.
I am in Livingston Scotland.

It is quite heavy to post lol. Where do you go past when you drive up to Scotland? I an in-between Glasgow and Edinburgh do you come up to Scotland on the A1 if so i could meet you at the forth road bridge. i always use the A1 when going down to York. because thats the only way i know lol.

You'll need an amp thats suited to powering the sub, too. You could also do with finding out what gauge wire was used to run the cables to the boot, I guess the previous owner might know but you could just measure the diameter of the wire itself. And make sure that the amp wire is fused in the engine bay - wouldnt want one without a fuse! eBay is a good source for cheaper amps ;-)

And MG-JOCKEY, next time you're going down to York, try out the A697, its a nice road and the ZS will love it: road review clicky (http://www.greatest-drives.com/drives/short-blast/The-Beauty-of-The-A697/25).
