What is the advantage of the TF wheel?

Incidently research on Rimmers suggests that the rotary couplers are the same on all the MGR's so you shouldn't need to change it but I may be wrong.

It's a smaller diameter and has a larger area for the thumbs in the 10-2 position .... Feels better IMHO.

The rotary couplers are different. You cannot plug Your ZS one into the TF airbag, as the connectors are different.

Just done some research, the Rover 400/45 up to 2000 seem to have the same coupler as the F and TF, after that Rover 45/ZS gets a different one, same applies to the ZR/25. The one in the ZT is different again.

Indeed! Its what pissed me off when i got my TF wheel. I got the TF airbag too as cutting up your ZS one just looks shoddy and crap. Its only a slightly different connection on the coupler, but you deffo need the TF one.

Visited "haGGard" this morning to get the TF wheel. Top Bloke. All fitted - feels great.

Big difference to my ZS in two days. Full leather sports seats and a pucka TF steering wheel.

All good.

:thankyou: Neil.

No probs!

Got to say your Mk2 was looking great. A diesel in that colour with full 180 kit and lovely black full leather interior, must be a great place to be sitting!

Rather than start a new thread -

This TF wheel and associated bits now back for sale.

The horn didn't work with it fitted so I've put the ZS one back on so i sell the car with a working horn.

I think the yellow circular bit might be fubarred because that's what the garage told me - but the best bits - the little silver metal adaptor collar, the actual wheel and airbag appear all good.

Best offer by pm takes it.....

Sure it wouldn't of taken much to get the horn working? Worked on my car fine. Its a very nice wheel tho in great condition so im sure whoever takes it has got a bargain.
