Don't want to sound like a prude but may one sell ones equipment?

With most employers the equipment belongs to the employer and should be returned.

Having said that, my dad worked for a company that became part of Philips in their research labs, when he left he went to return his tool kit to the stores, the stores man didn't have a system in place to accept returns as no one had tried before, 50 years on and the tools, mostly screw drivers and the like, still work as new.

yea why not if they wanted it back they would have said it only gets burned anyway wont get re used
we arent talking tools or anything just items of uniform and boots
everytime you go away you get more new kit i have done 9 tours so you can imagine how much kit i have

Was interested in a sas smock, wouldn't be able to get it off you till next payday now as I have spent the last of me pennies on a 2nd hand manifold today. That's if you have one that is? :)
