Would chrome mirror caps look ok on a xpg zs or do you think it would spoil it?

I like them on my Green ZS. Goes well with the rover 45 lights and silver ZS side badge.
I did like them on Mattie's and also Stephens Black mk2.
Having similar problem deciding on mine, been looking at the Chrome M3 on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390045802473?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 but 50 quid is a lot to spend if they don't look right :-/

I just can't decide. I took them of a 45 when I was at car breakers getting my zs a rear caliper. Gave them a polish and they look like new. But I just can't decide if they will go with the xpg.
Cheers

IMHO You may as well do the chrome strips in the bumper and the chrome door handles and have a car that looks like a Rover 45 trying to be a ZS replica.
I saw a ZS on Sunday that had the chrome strips in the bumper and it looked wrong.

Thats what I'm frightened of !!!! got some chrome in the wheels, just didn't know whether it would complement or not :-(

Put the chrome handles on mine, had the mirror caps on for a few years too. Love the handles but still not 100% sure about the mirrors.
Think I have pic of mates xpg one with chrome mirrors somewhere - will try and find it.
Found one, not very good though:

Cant you put them on and then decide for yourself? not sure how hard they are to swap right enough

Dead easy to swap - just get knife blade or finger nails under bottom of cover and they kind of peel off forwards / upwards. New ones on by getting them in at top then pushing downwards and back (kind of opposite to peeling, if you see what I mean)

If its that easy I would chuck them on and see how I felt about them.
