We had one. Goregous wee dog, Had to put her down last month due to old age. :(

Worse journey I ever took, taking our last Springer Spaniel to the vets knowing I wouldnt be bringing him back.

They become part of the family, only downside of owning a dog.

The last trip to the vet is certainly not much fun, but if your pets quality of life has deteriorated due to old age/illness, it is the right decision.

We are thinking about having another Westie, they're as daft as a box of frogs, but great dogs.

Swore we wouldnt get another one, but now we have Mad Max, another black and white Springer, lovely dogs.

we used to have a shihtzu when i grew up.

He was great fun when he was young but got a bit grumpy after 4. used to bark at eveything and then lost his eyesight.

Bless him, we had to shave him though as the long hair was a nightmare, he also used to hump everything in sight such as pillows, rubbish bags, people lol. he used to have a "yellowish" underside so we had no choice but to shave him .
