I've emailed him and asked. My only concern is the heater being broken, its climate so I would imagine not the usual resistor fix?

The broken heater may be the blower motor siezed.

Stupid fuel being so damn expensive, they do look good... Would always be a bit weary buying a cat C with a sprintex on, Its practically shouting danger at you!

Then again that LPG 180 looks the dogs dangalies!!

its worth ?2850 of anybodys money bud

if it was a mk1 then id laff with you

TBF this is the reason theyre so cheap because people have priced them so low with them being a "Rover" people think theyre worthless And in my oppinion theyre not

Agreed - to a point - The cars are worth more when you look at what else there is for the money - but as we all know - V6 Mk2s are now changing hands for between ?1500 and ?1800 as the examples for sale show. True - they may not be the best examples out there - but they are out there.

Mines up at a couple of hundred quid more than the not so good examples and it must be one of the better ones available!

Not sure its laughable mate, to be fair i am little offended. i don't expect to get more than ?2,500, and there are a few at that price.

Having looked at piston heads and there is only 2/3 cheaper, and they are really cheap.

?3,500 is a joke. ?5k+ for SC one? ?2,850ono for a complete minter..............

Whatever -

I put the thread up 'coz I found a SC one and two that are interesting cheap cars - supercharged - LPG converted and one that undercuts yours by ?1000.

I have not commented on your car on any thread or on your for sale thread saying anything negative whatsoever, just wished you good luck selling. Even thought about looking at your car myself, especially as I've got a diesel.

I created this thread merely to draw attention to three interesting cars. I'm not laughing at your car mate - I'm amazed at how cheap the others are, and the difference between yours and the cheapest there - (at ?1650 ono with everything done - ?1000 difference once a deal is done) - is, IMHO, laughable.

I was only a little offended(i am well over it now) only because I hoped that people my see that I have a one of the best around hence the asking price. Maybe I also didnt to mention that its had brand new inlet mani, and vis motors, and I also believe its more desirable being a saloon, and well kept black, not mention the plate.

I guess after seeing your for sale advert, we are in similar positions (though you may not agree) we both believe we have the best examples of our model, for that we are both justly asking top money for them, where others may not agree with our valuations.

Its a shame, I would be very interested in your car, though I think we are to far apart in valuations to start with.

No hard feelings, its a public forum after all.

Think they are both great cars.

Its the old story, you get what you pay for. To get the best you pay top dollar. You could pay a lot less, but you would end up with a car that would need a lot spending on it to get it back to A1 condition.

You are always going to get a great bargain for one reason or other, but all our cars are getting older.

Dont know about your areas, but the road side near us, is like a garage forecourt. Every other car has a "for sale", sticker, older cars but only priced in the hundreds. Dont think people look at older cars now.
