Nice to meet some of you guys finally.

Shame more people couldn't come though. Restaurant was nice, although a little cramped, and they didnt have straws for my littl'un to have a drink with!

Apologies for the orange being spilt everywhere too. :oops:

Went out last night for a quiet one...which turned into an epic one and stumbled in at 5am this morning and slept right through my alarm! doh!

Went back down the M3 Fleet Services, looked like they had a big car park!!!!

Great day, enjoyed meeting up with old and new friends.

Bit of a laugh in the posh pub, meal was good and company better.

Good meet last weekend. I miss Sunday roast! I see hardly any MGs over here, so it was nice to see a fleet of Zeds in the flesh and chat with fellow owners.

Got to wonder what the story was with the whole payment up front in the pub was about. Did we look like we were going to do a runner afterwards? Our gettaway cars were not exactly inconspicuous. Suffice to say, I doubt we'll be going back there again.

Think we would have walked out if we were on our own, think they thought we had hot getaway cars, lined up ready to do a runner.

I said did she want me to pay upfront as well, but I was all right as she had a copy of my debit card.

Maybe after the abysmal service, other people had just got up and gone, made you feel like that.

Anyway it didnt spoil the day, glad to meet up and have a chat.

As you say, dont think that will be on the "return to nice pub list".

sounds like apart from the people you had a bit of a rubbish time.... which always sucks when 3rd parties ruin it for you.....

hope the next meet the ZS will be finished and people can finally not be embaressed to have 'an old tractor' in the car park with you lot ;)
