I got some PIAA ice white bulbs from the local motorbits, paid £24 for them which was a bit much but I was desperate for them so had to pay over the odds. They are very bright on dark roads. Loads better than standard ones.

I've been using Halfords Extreme bulbs in the Defender for a while now and had them in the Astra before I did the Xenon conversion... for the price they are really impressive

I tried Osram Nightbreakers... and even though they were alot more expensive they didn't seem any better - so went back to the Halfords ones again lol

You need H7 for the ZS, H7R is only used for HIDs as the bulb is a bit shorter and apparently it gives a more "legal" beam pattern in the MK1 ZS

I get mine from poundland. They seem to do the job and last a decent amount of time. Had poundland ones in my missus' car for a year or so now and no problems!

Standard bulbs in the MK2 ZS were utter crap i cant imagine poundland bulbs being any good id expect them to be worse TBF

im of to halfrauds in a minute see what theyve got

just come to have a look at getting the bulb out and theyre seems to be screws holding the thing in do they need to be removed or slackened off to get the bulb out???

Not to keen on some cowboy from halfrauds playing with my car

It should just be a retaining clip holding the bulb in place. The retaining clip is like a door swings open from one side to the other with a hinge on one side and a clip to shut at the other.

Pull the wires off the bulb before undoing the clip. To undo the clip you will need to squeeze the ends together and it will unclip from the bulb holder and swings open from the hinge.

Abit difficult to explain.

Osram nightbreaker PLUS (makes a difference). Order from powerbulbs with a code of MGZS10 brings the price down a bit. You pay over the odds but free sidelight bulbs and 12 month guarantee. I killed a set in 11 months...
